There is a different kind of tired that comes from always being the one who figures it out.
The one everybody calls.
The one who keeps the house moving, remembers the appointments, handles the bills, checks on everybody else, and somehow still gets asked, “Are you okay?”
And most of the time, you say yes.
Not because everything is okay, but because explaining everything feels like one more thing to do.
Being strong is beautiful, but strength was never supposed to mean carrying everything alone.
You are allowed to need support.
You are allowed to say, “I don’t have the capacity today.”
You are allowed to rest before everything on your list is finished.
And you are allowed to have people in your life who ask what you need instead of always asking what you can do for them.
Softness does not make you weak.
Sometimes softness is simply giving yourself permission to stop performing strength long enough to be cared for too.
